2010 Flood In Pakistan | Flood Afftected Peoples Of Sindh

>> Saturday, September 24, 2011

The summer of 2010 produced Pakistan’s worst flooding in 80 years. The number
of people affected, who need food, shelter and clothing to face a harsh Pakistani
winter, is 20 million.

Flooding began on July 22, 2010, in the province of Baluchistan. The swollen waters
then poured across the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province in the northwest before flowing
south into Punjab and Sindh. Estimates of the death toll of the floods range from
1,300 to 1,600.

Even as Pakistani and international relief officials scrambled to save people and
property, they despaired that the nation’s worst natural calamity had ruined just
about every physical strand that knit the country together — roads, bridges,
schools, health clinics, electricity and communications.

The flooding, which began with the arrival of the annual monsoons, eventually
affected about one-fifth of the country — nearly 62,000 square miles — or an
area larger than England.

Six weeks after the floods began, as rivers continued to devour villages and
farmland in the southern province of Sindh, aid workers warned of a triple
threat: loss of crops, loss of seed for the next planting season and loss
of a daily income. There was widespread worry that the disaster will destabilize
the country and aggravate its already deep regional, sectarian and class fissures.

Poorly handled relief efforts, corruption and favoritism have added to the
distrust that many Pakistanis already feel for their civilian political
leaders, while the armed forces have burnished their image performing rescue
and relief missions along the length of the flooded areas.

PREMIERE URGENCE
AIDE MEDICAL INTERNATIONAL

In early April 2011, two French NGOs join forces to become one and the same
association, Premiere Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale (AMI-PU).
This new NGO has a goal: to meet all basic needs of populations affected
by humanitarian crises.
A novel approximation

In the sphere of French NGOs, the approximation of a medical association and
a humanitarian emergency is a novel approach that will enable Premiere Urgence
- AMI to respond more effectively to the needs of vulnerable populations but
also benefit from a stronger voice to assert the rights of victims of
humanitarian crises.
Rescue and rebuild

Natural disasters, armed conflicts and situations of economic collapse are all
crises that affect millions of people, depriving them of their rights: self-care,
food, shelter ... With complementary expertise of each association, PU-AMI will
provide comprehensive response to people in emergency situations and work with
them to the crisis on their return to independence.
Our actions

PU-AMI operates today in 16 countries to implement programs in the areas of health,
food security, nutrition, water and sanitation, camp management, reconstruction and
economic recovery. All these projects can help to more than 2 million people worldwide.
Our History

Founded in 1992, Premiere Urgence has conducted operations in over 38 countries to
help populations affected by conflict and natural disasters. A direct and concrete
that passes through the implementation of programs of distributions, agricultural
recovery and economic recovery, water and sanitation, rehabilitation and reconstruction.

Founded in 1979, AMI has been involved in over 28 countries to restore access to
healthcare for populations excluded from any health care system through the
implementation of medical programs (health care and primary school, PMI Nutrition
HIV, Mental Health, Community Development ...) with a constant concern for training
local health care.

8.9 Magnitude Earthquake In Japan 2011 | Monster Tsunami Stun Japan Earthquake

>> Monday, March 14, 2011

THE BIGGEST EARTHQUAKE IN THE HISTORY
LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Japan’s earthquake today has generated U.S. and
global warnings. Japan’s earthquake has registered a 8.9 magnitude, caused
massive damage, been followed by hundreds of major earthquake aftershocks,
and created a national state of emergency. At the same time, the Japan earth
quake has generated global warnings across the U.S., Taiwan, and Canada.

As many as twenty countries were under initial alerts after the Japan earthquake
struck. Those alerts have passed without any significant occurrences. The Philippines,
Indonesia and Chile were warned of possible tsunami
attacks. But in Taiwan, for example, the tsunami surges only generated waves of
12 centimeters or shorter.

Indonesia, Russia, New Zealand and Australia were also the subject of alerts Friday.
But updates from the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center appear to suggest those alerts
have passed without concern.

The U.S. is expecting the arrival of its first surges within moments in Hawaii.
The NOAA’s National Weather Service issued the following statement to news
moments ago. “A tsunami has been generated that could cause damage along
coastlines of all islands in the state of Hawaii” reads the statement.

Tsunami Arrival Times Map
Tsunami Arrival Times Map 1

“Urgent action should be taken to protect lives and property.” The NOAA explains
to news that “a tsunami is a series of long ocean waves, each individual wave crest
can last five to fifteen minutes or more and [cause] extensively flood[ing in] coast areas.”

And while Hawaii is under alert for 8 am EST today, the “danger can continue for
many hours after the initial wave as subsequent waves arrive” says NOAA in its
news statement.

Super Flood 2010 In Sindh | History Of Flood 2010 In Pakistan

SUPER FLOOD 2010 IN SINDH
Pakistan series is the hill country severe floods affected 60%.Flood history of the
world out in front of houses. Millions of millions of people billions and billions of
cattle harvest millions of homes and destroyed thousands of villages mixtures.
Happened to be in hundreds losses.
Flood the mountain area and some valley kashmir series and some khyber pakhtoon
affected some parts of Punjab. But every districts of Sindh badly affected by the floods.
Why only one in other parts of the country's flood came from. Why only one in other
parts of the country's flood came from.
But the flood of Sindh had attacked two ways. Due to river water every district of Sindh
kacha mixtures affected area. Village in which hundreds were drowned.
TOREE BAND crack and fall from the blaouchistan ,Jaafarabad, Nasirabad province,
qamber shahdadkot, Shikarpur, kashmor, sukkur, kandh koat, Dadu, Jamshoro, in the
areas of small towns and tehsils bad about old historical village with a population in
water drowned.
District to find flaws in LS Band and thatta 90% area was plunged into water. Falling
rain and floods in mountainous series due to come from Balochistan to Sindh water
also proved harm. That sight Sindh million human populations will be forced to leave
home. The children, elderly, women, were also.
River water and flood disaster in Sindh after the fall of TOOREE BAND has created.
On the problems facing millions of people. Due to floods and from their loved ones
were thinking, for all matters.
mean‘s the death. Bad water and not due to better food deaths of innocent children are.
Due to lack of grass for cattle to death. Millions and billions to fix the crops were
destroyed by floods.
People in different areas out of their houses after houses were robberies.
Richest people looting the houses. Floods round of transport be most costly for the
victims was a bad problem .
For example, if truck then to 10,000 in Karachi from you is demand then I was asking
for a million.
People have houses ornaments, wheat, cattle, in very cheap prices save lives or prevent.
WHAT DID PEOPLES
Sindh flood water levels after 20 to enter. Sindh's flood came about harun city, village,
Upper made from ground mixtures are troubling. For example from QOBO SAEED
KHAN to JOHI MANSHAR each area to the lake from the upper town became ground
mixtures are troubling. And GUDU KASHMORE from SHAH BANDAR raw city or
village of the upper earth was troubling.
Why Nearly areas of the Indus river populations almost Upper Hill series and
Balochistan due to water coming from QUBO SAEED KHAN to JOHI from the upper to
the populations of the earth are troubling.
But flood emergency was so heinous that people did not have time. But a lot of people
who self-help much villages and cities under.
Which FOR EXAMPLE
JOHI, SHAHDADKOT, CHOTI SEETA, BARI SEETA,GARI YASEEN,MEHAR.
These cities which he saved himself and the people in this city after a flood mouth
people survived because of hard work and unity.
Towns and villages in Sindh enough people post job on away of river. Have helped
one another. Even the water areas to prevent talented people gave up their lives.
FOR EXAMPLE
TOREE BAND the crack if they try to close after water pressure because of growing
two servants fell into the water. Their care of their relatives when he tried to save
the deteriorating area.
And memorable as their signs are put there. And if you take the ruling of the public with sufficient area of Sindh could survive the flood.

NGO ROLE DURING FLOOD
Urban floods in the village came running NGO see the solution.
Encompasses thirty forty kilometers of water trapped in the village ngo arrived
with human needs are supplied.
And victims food, medicines, clean drinking water, tents, and most things of need
are provided. And they will provide shipping transport for affected families. And
provided food for cattle’s
In emergency period they continue schools and hospitals. And after flood they to
build house’s, Latrine’s, school repairing, health centre repairing. And still people
are connected with hopes ngo.
Remember when the flood was on the rise and was about helping people ngo mean
while, when one of their helicopter Johi landed in Tehsil Dadu thousands of people
